Tribute to Aretha Franklin
TCB presents Aretha's career by playing the songs that made her world famous as "The Queen of Soul". Our repertoire spans 1964 - 1987, with emphasis on the material released by Atlantic Records 1967 ‑ 1979, both the big hits and some rare gems. Our three excellent singers perform Aretha's material and contribute with true gospel influenced backing. Soul Classics
We also love and perform other soul classics from the 60's and the 70's made famous by artists such as The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Martha & the Vandellas, Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Etta James, Tina Turner and Curtis Mayfield. Disco Classics
Supplemented with funky hits from disco's golden era 1974-80 by Earth, Wind & Fire, Diana Ross, Donna Summer, The Jacksons, Gloria Gaynor, LaBelle, Sister Sledge, The Emotions, KC & the Sunshine Band and Kool & the Gang the groovy dance floor fills up. Soul Sisters & Disco Divas
